Northern Virginia Center

CPAP is located in Old Town Alexandria at the intersection of Prince and Henry Streets - a 10 minute walk from the King Street Metro.

Uniquely positioned in the heart of the National Capital Region, CPAP Alexandria integrates the challenges of governing with the scholarship of public administration and policy. CPAP Alexandria offers both doctoral and master's degree programs and is located at 1021 Prince Street in Alexandria, VA.

CPAP students benefit from an opportunity to grow and learn in exciting and enriching theory-based courses and through networking and discourse with fellow students. The majority of CPAP students take classes on a part-time basis, while working full-time in a wide variety of federal, regional, and local government positions, as well as, positions in consulting and the non-profit sector.

Additionally, a formal mentoring program supports the CPAP PhD community. The Doctoral Mentoring Program will meet three Thursdays this fall: September 20th, October 18th and November 15th between 4:00 and 7:00 pm.
